Am I Eligible for the Hearing Services Program?

To qualify for the Australian Government's Hearing Services Program (HSP), you must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident aged 21 years or older and meet one of the following criteria:

• Hold a Pensioner Concession Card.
• Receive Sickness Allowance from Centrelink.
• Hold a Veteran Gold Card (issued for all conditions).
• Hold a Veteran White Card (issued for specific conditions that include hearing loss).
• Be the spouse or de facto partner of someone who meets one of the above categories.
• Be a member of the Australian Defence Force.
• Be part of the Disability Employment Services (DES) – Disability Management Service and referred by your DES case manager.
• Be eligible under the Department of Veterans' Affairs Rehabilitation Appliances Program (RAP) or Tinnitus Program.
• Be a participant in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
